Laurie Kirkland named principal with Blankingship & Keith
Blankingship & Keith, P.C. is pleased to announce that Laurie L. Kirkland has become a principal with the firm, effective Jan. 1, 2016.
“Laurie has made outstanding contributions to the firm and has achieved excellent results for our clients,” said William B. Porter, managing principal of the firm. “Her practice supports the firm’s core strengths and positions us to serve our clients better now and for years to come.”
Kirkland, who joined the firm in 2008, focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial matters, employment law, and trust and estates litigation. For the past three years, she has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and a “Legal Elite” by Virginia Business Magazine.
Before joining the firm, Kirkland completed a clerkship with the Honorable R. Terrence Ney of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. She graduated with honors from the George Mason University School of Law.
