Blankingship & Keith resolves three cases listed in Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s ‘Million Dollar Settlements of 2017’
The trial lawyers at Blankingship & Keith, PC resolved three major personal injury cases in 2017 listed in Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s statewide “Million Dollar Settlements of 2017.” With a total of 45 cases making this year’s list, the personal injury team secured one settlement for $7.25 million included in the top ten and another settlement making the top 15.
The firm’s $2.75 million settlement for a client who slipped and fell at an airport was the second-highest settlement in Virginia for a mild traumatic brain injury reported, statewide, in 2017.
This annual compilation recaps big settlements from across the Commonwealth during the past year. To qualify, a settlement must be for at least $1 million, be reached in calendar year 2017, and involve a dispute with a strong Virginia component.
